SWS Kids is a creative summer camp in Lagos for children aged 7 to 14. We started small, and the idea hasn't changed: give a child a room where being loud, curious and a bit ridiculous is the point, put patient adults in it, and see what comes out.
Plenty of our campers arrive having never sung in front of anyone, and by the third week they're on a track. What we're really teaching isn't music — it's the nerve to stand up and do the thing.
Alongside the singing and songwriting there's drama, dance, sports, skill acquisition, career grooming and an intro to AI, because the children who come here are curious about everything and we'd rather feed that than narrow it.
